I will be forwarding this complaint/negligence to the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Justice Consumer Complaints division. After that, it's the EEOC. :)
I requested camera footage but the cameras reset after a few days, so "no proof".
I was formally employed with the club for a few weeks and my husband and I were PAYING members of the gym for two years prior to that - after this incident of negligence I notified Gold's via their online system to terminate our membership.
I have been working out at Gold's for several years and have always been satisfied with the gym's upkeep and cleanliness. New owners have taken over about a year ago and a few things changed. The gym has been a little BETTER at upkeep and cleaning but the biggest change is in the management and staff. Everyone just seems more polite and pleasant. It is a very nice change to see a smiling face when you enter. The management have been very open to suggestions and been very helpful making many improvements. It is though the whole personality of the gym is much more upbeat.
My child had her property damaged during her time in the gym childcare facility -- of course "no one saw anything".
How can you not see anything with two "so called" adults (one is named Lorin) around who supposedly WATCH the children?
You'd be better off taking your kid to a lion's den than to take them to this gym's childcare.
Staff is always very pleasent and friendly. I noticed they had a new cleaning guy and the place is definitely becoming more clean on a daily basis.

Membership rates are reasonable, staff is friendly and helpful. The machines are in great shape and maintained well. In my opinion, it’s the nicest golds in the Carolinas.
Finally found a gym I can call my home. A great variety of equipment, that is fixed quickly if anything breaks. All of the staff is helpful, knowledge and nice. The personal trainers are actually well trained, nice, helpful and even look the part of trainers that apply their knowledge to their own lives. The atmosphere is actually a wonderful one, people are nice, non judging and even helpful. On top of all that the manager Jesse is super nice, very approachable, knowledgeable and helpful. Bonus points, they are open 24/7 even on holidays. I love this place❤️
My child told me that a baby had it in their mouth and broke it: so that means the baby must have swallowed the piece of the necklace that broke off which was on my daughter's neck (since the piece was never found).
